Former Strikeforce champion Nick Diaz (26-9-2 MMA) could return to the UFC octagon as early as this August, this after he completes his current suspension which was handed down by the NSAC.
Diaz has not competed inside the cage since his UFC 183 main event fight with Anderson Silva in January of 2015, which was eventually ruled a no-contest after both Diaz and Silva failed their post fight drug tests.
Nick has stated that he is only looking for “big fights” at this stage of his career, and judging by his recent instagram post Diaz could probably do five-rounds easy right now if asked.
