UFC lightweight contender Nate Diaz is coming off the biggest win of his mixed martial arts career, this after he submitted current UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor in a welterweight bout that headlined last month’s UFC 196 event in Las Vegas.
The “Stockton Slugger” feels confident that he will once again be able to finish Conor McGregor when the pair rematch in the headlining bout of July’s blockbuster UFC 200 event.
Nate Diaz recently spoke to ESPN where he stated that his confidence is currently at an all-time high. His words:
“I think I can beat every fighter from my weight up to heavyweight,” Diaz stated. “I really do feel like I’m better than everyone, but I feel like if I don’t go in there and do what I’m supposed to do, you can f— up and lose to anyone. So even a guy I just beat, I need to make sure I prepare and get the job done. Kill or be killed. There’s a lot of pressure in this sport. I need to go in and make s— happen my way.”
