UFC 200 could be taking a wild turn and surely UFC President Dana White is getting more people reaching out to him more than ever right now.
On Tuesday, UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor announced on Twitter that he has “decided to retire young.”
Nate Diaz handed Conor McGregor his first defeat in the UFC at UFC 196 back on March 5. An “obsessed” McGregor called for a rematch with Diaz and the UFC announced that the two are slated to face one another in the Octagon in an immediate rematch to headline the historic UFC 200 event in July.
Diaz reacted to the surprising news shortly after McGregor’s tweet with his own tweet saying, “I guess my work here is done I’m retiring too✌🏼️👊🏼”
