UFC welterweight contender Mike Perry was sitting cage side for today’s UFC Fight Night 118 event in Gdansk, Poland.
“Platinum” watched on as Darren Till improved his record to a perfect 16-0-1 by defeating veteran Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone via first-round TKO in the fight cards main event.
When Till took to the mic for his post-fight speech, he immediately directed his attention to Perry and issued him a challenge.
“I’ve got my eye on Mike Perry,” Till stated while pointing at Perry who was sitting cage side. “You and me were meant to fight!”
The callout did not sit well with “Platinum”, who promptly rushed to the cage and jawed back at Till.
“I am a real welterweight! I am a real welterweight!” shouted Perry.
“Platinum”, who has gone 4-1 in the UFC with all four wins coming by knockout, later joined the UFC Gdansk commentary team to discuss a potential future fight with the undefeated Darren Till.

Perry would then take to his Twitter where he issued the following warning to Mr. Till:

“The boy went fishing for bass and got ahold of a shark. #BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor” – Mike Perry
Fight fans will have to wait on a future Perry vs. Till matchup, as “Platinum” is already slated to square off with Santiago Ponzinibio at UFC on FOX 26 on December 16 in Winnipeg.
With his victory over Cerrone, Darren Till improved his mixed martial arts record to a perfect 16-0-1.
Till has gone 4-0-1 with two knockout victories since joining the UFC ranks in May of 2015.
Meanwhile, Mike Perry sports an 11-1 record with all of his eleven victories coming by way of knockout.
Perry’s lone setback coming at the hands and feet of Alan Jouban who he lost to via decision in December of 2016.
