Many fans were upset to hear the news that UFC 205 lost a big fight on Tuesday.
Tim Kennedy just arrived in New York for his scheduled match against Rashad Evans on Tuesday only to find out that Evans was pulled from competition. Evans told MMA Fighting that he was in great shape and that no one needed to worry about him but was facing an issue with the athletic commission in New York that will not allow him to compete.
“It’s just the commission and their rules,” Evans told MMA Fighting. “I guess they have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to this.”
As of now, the details on what the “zero tolerance policy” is in regards to have not been revealed.
Kennedy arrived in New York and has taken things into his own hands to try and get an opponent for the November 12 card taking place at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
Kennedy tweeted the following to four potential opponents:
“@SpiderAnderson was curious if you had any plans November 12? Want to meet me in New York at Madison Square Garden?”

Tim Kennedy has not fought since September 27, 2014, where he battled Yoel Romero in a controversial fight at UFC 178. Kennedy lost in the third round by TKO after Romero was given extra time on his chair in between rounds 2 and 3 to deal with issues with Vaseline from his cutman.
