Shortly after Darren Elkins’ epic comeback win over Michael Johnson, and before Kamaru Usman and Emil Meek’s welterweight war, the UFC welcomed Matt Hughes back to the cage. This touching moment came just months after Hughes was involved in a near-fatal accident during which his truck was hit by a train.

All the words in the world don’t do this moment justice, so we’ll let you watch it for yourself. It’s great to see the former welterweight champion walking again, and walking out to the Octagon at that.
