Brown was able to make a humorous statement following the rough time in Brazil with a post on Instagram with he and Maia posed for a photo after their fight. Brown said in his caption, “I’ve finally made it back to the US alive and well! Wasn’t sure if that was going to happen but here I am! 😂😂 Once more thanks to @demian_maia for the lesson in BJJ and thanks to Brazil for making the weekend exciting! Even though I lost I feel one step closer to being the best fighter I can be. I am not going to stop grinding for that gold and I will not let this slow me down even a little bit.
