“It’s been a chain of them (test failures for PEDs), you know… It’s not a good feeling. But I’m honestly excited to be here in Russian, the Russian opening.
I’m glad that Fabricio Werdum got caught, that little b*tch. Go back to the favelas. F*ck you, you little c*nt. Good job. He was supposed to be here, but that’s what you get for being weak. That’s what you get, Fabricio, for being a weak-minded person. See you later.
They pulled me from the Sydney card, he took my place. That guy kneed me in the head in Mexico, I had to lose 21 kilograms in three and a half weeks to make that a title fight. I got kneed in the head by that little cheater. Then he beats Cain [Velasquez] in Mexico. That really upsets me about that guy. Then he wouldn’t fight me…he’s just a cheating little b*tch, man. He’s a little dog, that guy. See you later, Fabricio. Enjoy, motherf*cker.”
In a way, it just kind of seems like Mark Hunt can’t avoid fighting dirty fighters. And that trend continued after Fabricio Werdum’s recent USADA suspension was handed out.
Hunt and Werdum met in the Octagon back at UFC 180 in November 2014. The two fought over the interim UFC heavyweight crown and after a success filled first round for Hunt, Werdum would capitalize in the second with a huge step knee that connected for the TKO victory as followed it with punches.
Werdum marked Hunt’s 10th opponent of his 27-fight career to have tested positive for banned substances at one point or another.
This Saturday at UFC Moscow, Hunt will headline opposite the hometown man in Alexey Oleynik. Despite having this fight booked, Hunt hopes to come out unscathed then potentially compete in his very last UFC fight in December as part of UFC Adelaide.
Initially, Werdum was supposed to be the one taking on Oleynik but obviously, that got canceled after the Brazilian’s test failure.
