Tuesday night the MMA world was stunned as tragic news surfaced out of nowhere that MMA fighter Kimbo Slice had been hospitalized, and that the situation wasn’t good.

Shortly following the initial report of Slice’s hospitalization, reports began emerging that Slice passed away at the age of 42 in Florida.

While no cause of death was immediately listed, the Orlando Sentinel has reported that the cause of death is heart failure.

Slice’s last fight was under the Bellator MMA banner, where he fought and KOd Dada 5000 in a rather infamous fight that landed Dada 5000 in the hospital in critical condition.
