Late last month, on the main card of the UFC’s exciting visit to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Russian-American strawweight Justine Kish stepped into the cage with the amply more experienced Felice Herrig. In the end, Kish would lose this fight by unanimous decision, as she was soundly out grappled for three rounds.
Unfortunately, Herrig’s impressive performance will not be the reason this fight is remembered. Instead, the fight will be remembered for the unfortunate mid-fight accident that Kish endured in it.
In the middle of the fight, during an intense grappling exchange, brown blotches began to appear on the Octagon surface. Kish later revealed with tremendous confidence and candor that she did indeed lose control of her facilities mid-fight.
I am a warrior, and I will never quit #ShitHappens haha be back soon.

Unsurprisingly, Kish’s mid-fight bowel movement generated dozens of headlines over the subsequent days. And though she seemed unfazed by the buzz, she will apparently be receiving a small bonus from the UFC for putting up with the ordeal so well.
“[UFC President Dana White] called me the day after the fight and he wanted to check with me and make sure I was okay.” Kish said on The Domenick Nati Show (via esporte.ig.com.br). “He noticed that we had a little humiliation behind what happened, and he encouraged me and said, ‘you fought as a warrior in there and I loved the way you dealt with it.’
“Another thing that is cool is that Dana suggested that I have a small bonus, a gift, for my performance.” She added. “UFC is very good at giving little secret bonuses, I did not ask and I do not know how much it will be, so let’s see in a few weeks.”
