Daniel Cormier gives ultimate ‘f**k you’ scenario for Jon Jones rematch

Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier

This Saturday at UFC 214, UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier will step into the Octagon for a highly anticipated rematch with his nemesis Jon Jones. The fight will not only determine the undisputed light heavyweight champion, but will also see Jones return to the Octagon for the first time since his UFC 200 suspension that resulted in him being pulled from the fight on just 48 hours notice.

Now, with the rematch just over two days away, Daniel Cormier explained what his ideal ‘f**k you’ mic drop ending would be.

He spoke to MMAJunkie:

“How about I walk across the stage and say, ‘Here, how about you deal with what I’ve been dealing with the last two years,’ and leave,” Cormier said at today’s UFC 214 open workouts. “Would that not be the ultimate (expletive) you? I think he’ll win again after I’m done. After I beat him twice and if I walk off into the sunset, or I leave this division, he’ll be the champion again. I want him to deal with what I’ve had to deal with where he is going to be berated for something that is not in his control.
