UFC commentator Jon Anik is a man of his word and he will have proof of that for the rest of his life.

Before Nate Diaz upset Conor McGregor at UFC 196, Anik announced on his podcast with Kenny Florian that he was picking “The Notorious” to win by knockout or TKO in the first round. He was so confident in his pick that he put out a bet and made it public to all the listeners, and the word spread.

“I’m going to say it here for the masses to hear. I will get the area code ‘209’ tattooed on the inside of my forearm, if Nate Diaz beats Conor McGregor,” Anik said on the podcast. “I got Conor in Round 1.”

Well, Conor McGregor lost the fight to Nate Diaz.

The Stockton, California native made it clear after the fight that he was waiting to see Anik’s tattoo and Anik did as he said and went under the gun. Check out a close up of the “209” tattoo here.
