Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Claudia Gadelha’s beef is a well known one that goes back to the pair’s first meeting in the Octagon at UFC on FOX 13 in 2014. Jedrzejczyk won the fight via split decision, with many believing that Gadelha should have won the fight.

The win put Jedrzejczyk in position to fight for the women’s strawweight championship, in a fight she won via TKO. Since then, Jedrzejczyk has defended her title twice, defeating Jessica Penne and Valerie Letourneau. On July 8th at the TUF 23 finale, Gadelha will have the opportunity to avenge the loss as the pair have a rematch for the title.

During this season of TUF, things have been extremely heated between the two. Recently, Jedrzejczyk began talking trash to one of Gadelha’s coaches, resulting in another verbal showdown between the two.
