Salaries revealed for Chuck Liddell vs Tito Ortiz 3

Chuck Liddell, Tito Ortiz, Chuck Liddell vs Tito Ortiz 3

Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz are fighting each other again. This time, both fighters will be cashing in on six-figure paydays for the fight.

Liddell is making a comeback after an eight-year retirement, while Ortiz last fought for Bellator in January 2017. The fight is set to go down tomorrow night at The Forum in Inglewood, California after both fighters made weight earlier today. The event will mark the first event by Oscar De La Hoya and his new promotion, Golden Boy MMA.

Just a day out from the fight, the pay for the fighters has been revealed. Liddell tops out the pay at $250,000, while Ortiz follows suit at $200,000.

Liddell’s and Ortiz’s pay is their minimum pay, as both fighters have stated they are getting a good percentage of the PPV money. That, in turn, should bump up their pay significantly. As well, they will be making money from sponsors, too.

While Liddell and Ortiz are making a good amount of money, the rest of the fighters, yeah not so much. “Filthy” Tom Lawlor, the UFC veteran, will only be taking home 25 thousand. It is a significant drop off from what he was making inside the Octagon, but it is a chance for Lawlor to fight again after being suspended by USADA.
