Former UFC welterweight kingpin Georges St-Pierre will return to the octagon for this first time in nearly four years when he squares off with Michael Bisping for the promotions middleweight championship at UFC 217 on November 4 in New York.

The last time fight fans saw “GSP” in action was at UFC 167 in November of 2013 where he earned a close split decision victory over Johny Hendricks.

Following that victory, which extended his win streak to an amazing in a row, the Canadian superstar announced that he would be vacating his title and taking some time away from the sport of mixed martial arts.

During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Georges St-Pierre explained that he is not satisfied with his current list of mixed martial arts accomplishments and that is why he has decided to return.

“Satisfaction is the deathtrap. When you’re satisfied, you better retire. I’m not satisfied. I think I can do more, and I will prove it to everybody November 4th. I’m very happy. The sport has evolved, but I believe you haven’t seen the best out of me yet.”

“Rush” believes that he has a lot of new tools in his arsenal and plans on showcasing them on November 4 at MSG on route to shocking the world.

“It’s much different. I got a lot more tools in my arsenal. I’ve been working on different things,” St-Pierre stated. “If Bisping’s expecting me the same as I was, it’s a big mistake on his part. I’m going to come out, and I want to shock the world. I’m the challenger. I’m not the champion this time. So I have to take the fight to him. I have to expect that if I’m going to a decision, and the fight is close, it’s not going to go my way. So I’m going to go there, and I’m going to put everything I have to finish him and fight like there’s no tomorrow.”
