This past weekend, UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor did what no other man in the history of the UFC has been able to do as he captured the UFC lightweight championship to become the first man to simultaneously hold two UFC championships.
The fight was an incredibly dominant one for McGregor, who dropped Alvarez for the first time just moments into the fight, ultimately dominating the fight from bell to bell as he ended up finishing Alvarez in the second round via TKO, becoming the first man to stop Alvarez in the UFC, and just the second man to finish Alvarez in his professional career.
