Ranked UFC lightweight and welterweight Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and ONE Championship welterweight champ Ben Askren are similar in that both never hold back in speaking their mind. However, their views on fighting styles could not be more different.

Cerrone was recently put under the microscope for his critical comments made on Daniel Cormier’s performance against Anderson Silva at UFC 200.

Askren took to Facebook to address Cerrone and his comments directed at Cormier and spoke his mind.

“Your line of reasoning is embarrassing for humanity,” Askren said. “It’s disgusting and if you were actually half as tough as you talk or you think you are, somewhere in over the decade of mixed martial arts you’ve done you would have learned how to stop a takedown but you are weak and you aren’t smart.

“I’m sorry Donald, that’s all I got for you today,” Askren said in closing.
