Donald Cerrone has a message for every lightweight and welterweight on the UFC roster!
The former lightweight title challenger, Donald Cerrone, took to Instagram yesterday evening where he posted the following video at his BMF Ranch.
“Saturday night working on my new @bmfranch sauna 🧖🏽♂️ Really I’m looking and waiting for a fight the guy who begged for the fight, said the date we agreed on won’t work for him 🤷🏼♂️so he out. So if your a 155/170 and looking for a fight go ahead and let your manager know! And let’s dance.” – Donald Cerrone
After suffering a first-round TKO loss to Rafael dos Anjos in a fight for the UFC’s lightweight title in December of 2015, “Cowboy” Cerrone decided to move up to the UFC’s welterweight division (170 pounds).
The move paid off with some immediate success, as Cerrone would earn four straight stoppage victories over opponents Alex Oliveira, Patrick Cote, Rick Story and Matt Brown.
Unfortunately for fans of Cerrone, “Cowboy” would go on to lose his next three fights, suffering stoppage losses to Jorge Masvidal and most recently Darren Till in two of those three contests.
While Cerrone has obviously not shut there door on competing at 170-pounds, he is also willing to field offers from his former weight class of 155-pounds.
