On the other hand, UFC women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes stepped into the Octagon looking to make her first successful title defense after winning the belt at UFC 200 by submitting Miesha Tate in the first round.
In the co-main event, Dominick Cruz stepped into the Octagon against undefeated Team Alpha Male prospect Cody Garbrandt for a highly anticipated grudge-match that had been built up over the course of many months.
