Derrick Lewis is one of the funniest fighters on the UFC roster. The heavyweight knockout artist’s social media posts and post-fight interviews are definite favorites among the fans, and his latest video post on Twitter keeps that trend alive.
In this video post, Lewis can be seen in the passenger seat of a car, with tears streaming down his face, as the car’s driver head-bangs to to the song Characters by the metal band Beyond All Recognition. Evidently, the UFC heavyweight is not a fan.
Derrick Lewis last fought in June of 2017, when he had an impressive, six-fight streak derailed by heavyweight legend Mark Hunt. This win-streak was composed of wins over Travis Browne, Shamil Abdurakhimov, Roy Nelson, Gabriel Gonzaga, Damian Grabowski and Viktor Pesta. Of these men, only Nelson survived to a decision with the hulking Texan.
Currently 18-5 overall, Lewis will next fight on February 18 in Austin, Texas, where he will battle Poland’s Marcin Tybura in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 126. The card will be headlined by a welterweight scrap between Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and Yancy Medeiros.
