Last week news surfaced that Daniel Cormier would no longer be able to fight Jon Jones in the main event of UFC 197 after suffering a knee injury in training.
It was revealed that DC would be out for 3-6 weeks, which subsequently lead to the UFC selecting Ovince Saint Preux as a fill-in opponent for Jones on April 23rd.
Prior to going into surgery Tuesday morning, the light heavyweight champ sent a message to his fans via Instagram.
