UFC President Dana White went on ESPN’s SportsCenter to announce that current UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor had been pulled from his scheduled UFC 200 main event rematch with Nate Diaz after failing to commit to a press conference in Las Vegas.
White continued by saying that the UFC still had a good relationship with Conor, but pulling the Irish superstar was something that just had to be done.
As for Nate Diaz, who also suggested that he was retiring from MMA today, he apparently is flying down to Las Vegas with his team to meet with Dana White and UFC officials about booking a new opponent for UFC 200.
