Of all the injuries you would want to avoid in your lifetime…this is definitely one of them. At least Bryce Mitchell has a great sense of humor.
Season 27 of The Ultimate Fighter featured a roster of undefeated lightweights and featherweights. Among the 145ers was the 10-0 Arkansas native, the man known as ‘Thug Nasty’.
Mitchell won his fight in the opening round over Jay Cuccinello before being defeated by the eventual winner of the season, Brad Katona. In his UFC debut at the finale, Mitchell would beat his fellow member on Team Cormier, Tyler Diamond by majority decision.
Although he was looking to return to action sooner rather than later…Mitchell will now have to wait for his ‘nutsack’ to heal up as he took to Facebook to comically detail his horrific incident.

On season 27 of TUF, Mitchell showed off his great personality that accompanies his fighting abilities and it’s good to still see him in good spirits here. But, man…ouch.
On behalf of BJPenn.com and all men around the world, we wish Mitchell a speedy recovery.
