Tuesday evening news broke that Dennis Siver was forced out of his UFC 199 scrap with BJ Penn due to an undisclosed injury.
While speculation began flying as to who would step up and face the UFC Hall of Famer on such short notice, it appears we now have an answer!
American Top Team’s Cole Miller has stepped up and will now face Penn on the featured prelim bout of UFC 199 on June 4th. Miller hasn’t fought since his No-Contest bout against Jim Alers at UFC on FOX 17 back in December, but will be looking to return to the win column after losing to Max Holloway prior to his NC bout with Alers.
The news broke on UFC Tonight, which was then relayed via the program’s Twitter account.
