Despite going 3-1 in his second run in the UFC, it looks like Ben “Killa B” Saunders may have been cut by the UFC for the second time in his professional MMA career.
According to Treasure Island Resort & Casino, the TUF veteran is scheduled to compete at Fight Night at the Island on September 9 in Minnesota against fellow former UFC fighter Jacob Volkmann.
Saunders last fought Patrick Cote at UFC Fight Night 81 back in January, losing by TKO in the second round. Prior to his bout with Cote, Saunders won three straight in his second run with the UFC with finishes over Chris Heatherly, Joe Riggs, and a decision win over Kenny Robertson.
