Tito Ortiz posted a photo earlier this week featuring a very in-shape Ortiz while strongly hinting at a possible comeback for the former UFC light-heavyweight champion with the caption:
“Come backs are always the best test! Live life to the fullest. #Positive”
Ortiz also took to Twitter posting a message to his fans about the positivity in his life and that he may have big pans on the horizon:
“Nice 2be a free agent.Need 2make a big decision 4my future 4my kids future. Nice 2 have a great surrounding and 2be healthy.#Positive 7yrs”
Ortiz’s vague message started the rumor mill and sent fans to their computer desks to speculate at what Ortiz could be hinting at with a return to MMA under the Bellator banner being the most talked about as a fight with recent Bellator signee Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson would most likely pull in big numbers for Bellator.
But while chiming in on a conversation on Twitter, Ortiz seemingly closed the door on a move to Bellator (read from the bottom up):
Whether or not Ortiz was just stifling rumors for now or he is in fact staying away from the UFC’s top competitor, we don’t know for certain but if taken as fact, the doors on Ortiz’s return remain very open.
Either way, here’s to a healthy return for “The People’s Champ” if that what he deems best for his life.
