Joe Vedepo utilized his wrestling skills to take the fight to the ground where he put an end to things with his ground and pound.

Vedepo took Clark down to the mat with ease and was able to soften him up for two rounds before finishing him in the third. The blows were not too damaging, however Clark was blocking strikes for ten minutes straight and it started to take its toll on him.

Clark gave up his back in the third round which allowed Vedepo to unload on him. The referee had warned Clark before the stoppage that if he did not improve his position, the fight would end.
