Alexander Volkov picked up the biggest win of his mixed martial arts career today in Rotterdam, scoring a third-round TKO victory over Stefan Struve in the main event of UFC Fight Night 115.
Struve looked sharp in the early stages of the fight, landing a variety of strikes including a flying knee which left Volkov cut and bleeding.
However, Volkov was able to weather “The Skyscraper’s” early storm and eventually began to get the better of Struve in round two by utilizing his overhand right.
“Drago” would continue his success in round three where he eventually put Struve away, this after knocking the big man down with a right hand and then following up with some fierce ground and pound.
