Top UFC lightweight T.J. Grant has been removed from the UFC’s official rankings following a lengthy layoff from competition.
The Canadian grappler rose through the UFC’s lightweight ranks to earn a title shot against Benson Henderson. An injury forced him out of that contest, making way for Anthony Pettis and the rest of the UFC’s lightweight division to bury him out of the title picture and now off the rankings entirely.
