Last month, Cristina Ferguson, the wife of streaking UFC lightweight contender Tony Ferguson, filed a temporary restraining order against the fighter.

According to Marc Raimondi of MMA Fighting, who spoke with Cristina Ferguson’s attorney Jeffery L. Heath, this restraining order has now expired. A hearing in the case was scheduled for April 5, but that hearing did not occur.

“There are no matters pending in this case,” Heath wrote in an email to MMA Fighting.

The restraining order against Tony Ferguson applied to both his wife Christina and his young son. The order followed “threatening and violent behavior” from the fighter, who was never arrested or charged for anything.

“Tony Ferguson is a good husband and good father to our son,” Cristina Ferguson’s original statement on the case read. “The current legal proceedings are a part of a process to ensure that Tony will receive the help necessary to continue being the best possible, as well as to pursue his passion and career as a UFC champion fighter. All positive well wishes are sincerely appreciated and I hope our privacy will be respected.”

Ferguson, who is on an impressive 11-fight win-streak, recently claimed to have been cleared to fight by UFC officials. UFC President Dana White, however, offered a different view on the situation.
