On November 4, in the main event of the absurdly stacked UFC 217, ever-entertaining UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping will attempt to defend his strap against former UFC welterweight champ and MMA GOAT contender Georges St-Pierre.

Given Bisping’s propensity for trash talk, it should come as no surprise that he’s taking every opportunity to get into his Canadian foe’s head in advance of their fight.

Bisping’s latest jabs at St-Pierre occurred this week, as St-Pierre boarded an elevator. Bisping, who was nearby, followed the former welterweight champ, and hit him with a bit of verbal heat, telling him to “take steroids” but not to get caught.

“Bye Georges,” joked the middleweight champ. “Sweet dreams! Sweet dreams, train hard. Take steroids – don’t get caught though! Don’t get caught!”

Bisping will enter his fight with St-Pierre having not fought since October of 2016, when he successfully defended his title with a close decision defeat of Dan Henderson. In his next most recent fight, he shocked the world with a first-round knockout of Luke Rockhold, which earned him the UFC middleweight crown.

St-Pierre, meanwhile, has not fought since November of 2013, when he defended the UFC welterweight title with a razor-close decision defeat of Johny Hendricks. Shortly after this defense, St-Pierre embarked on an indefinite hiatus from MMA – though he never retired outright.

UFC 217 will feature two other title fights: one at bantamweight, where champ Cody Garbrandt will attempt to defend his title against a former training partner in TJ Dillashaw, and one at strawweight where dominant divisional ruler Joanna Jedrzejczyk will battle challenger Rose Namajunas.
