Jim Miller complains about lack of opponent on Twitter, five fighters quickly respond

Jim Miller

UFC lightweight veteran Jim Miller is one of the most consistently exciting fighters in the game. Unfortunately, he’s having a very difficult time finding a willing dance partner for his next fight.

The all-action lightweight, who has won nine post-fight bonuses in the UFC, shared his grievances in a video on Twitter.

“Still trying to get a fight,” Miller said in his post. “Never thought I’d have to beg someone to bleed with me.”

It appears Jim Miller’s video is serving its desired purpose. Since he posted it, a whopping five fighters have responded, challenging him to fights at both lightweight and welterweight.

Scotland’s Stevie Ray was the first to pipe up:

“I know a lightweight that would be up for it Nov/Dec time,” the Scotsman said.

Paul Felder was up next, replying with a gif.

This then prompted Ray to re-enter the conversation, clarifying that he’d fight at lightweight or welterweight.

“Also I’ll fight you at 155 or 170 pounds, and anywhere you want too,” he said. “The offer is there.”

Next time chime in was Dan “Hangman” Hooker, who also expressed interest in a fight, suggesting November 19 in Sydney as a setting.

“Count me in,” Hooker said. “How about 19th [of] November [at] UFC Sydney!”

The next fighter to enter the conversation was Damien Brown, who also suggested the UFC’s November 19 return to Sydney.

“Hey [Jim Miller], let’s do it November 19 [at UFC Sydney]. I’m waiting for a match so let’s do it.”

Last but not least was Canada’s Chad Laprise, an Ultimate Fighter Winner. Laprise is apparently willing to fight Miller at welterweight.

“I’m in at [170 pounds]” Laprise said. “Will message [matchmaker Sean Shelby] right now.”

Needless to say, Miller seems to have plenty of options. And there’s always former featherweight king Jose Aldo, who is apparently willing to fight “anyone” to get on the UFC 217 bill on November 4 in UFC (though Miller doesn’t want to fight in New York).

Who do you want to see Jim Miller fight next?
