UFC lightweight champ Conor McGregor is a rich, rich man. Though he was already a multimillionaire thanks to his efforts in the Octagon, his Saturday night boxing match with Floyd Mayweather Jr earned him a disclosed purse of $30 million – and he’s expected to clear $100 million once pay-per-view buys are factored in.

Based on his comments at the event’s post-fight press conference, McGregor is keen to make sure he collects every penny he’s owed for his battle with Mayweather, which he lost via 10th-round TKO.

“Now we go into the accounting phase,” he explained to the media (via MMAJunkie), before adding that he planned to ” send auditors in there like f*cking sharks.”

However much McGregor pockets once PPV sales are factored in, it’ll be more money than he’s ever seen before. So how will he spend it? Apparently, he’s not sure just yet. His priority for the moment is carrying on with life, and making smart financial choices.

“I don’t know how I spend it,” he said during a post-fight press conference. “I just carry on living my life. Carefree, with a smart mind and just enjoy life.”

“There are so many ventures that are bringing in nice revenue for me,” he continued later. “I’m building brands.

Whatever the case, McGregor can now confidently say that, barring financial disaster, he’s now set for life.

“The money’s good for me. I’m very blessed and very happy I’m in the position I’m in. Right now I’m in the stage of forever money. As long as I’m tactical and make some smart decisions and don’t do nothing stupid, I’m set for life.”
