Former UFC welterweight champion Matt Hughes revealed that he would come out of retirement for a fight with fellow former welterweight title holder and bitter rival Matt Serra.

A fan tweeted Hughes asking “Matt Hughes will you fight Matt Serra at MSG?”, the UFC Hall of Famer responded with the following:

Hughes and Serra originally squared off in May of 2009 at UFC 98, with Hughes getting the judges nod in a very close decision which was deemed “Fight of the night”.
