UFC heads met with Conor McGregor on Wednesday night to discuss booking his next fight and from the looks of both Dana White and “The Notorious” after their meeting, everything went really well.
White and UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta apparently met with Nate Diaz Friday in Stockton, California to meet over lunch to discuss booking the rematch with McGregor, and it sounds like things didn’t go as smooth as the meeting with McGregor.
TMZ reported, “Dana, Nate and a couple of suits were all friendly as they chowed down, but the talk got serious and ended abruptly when Dana was visibly angry, stood up and beelined it for his SUV.”
MMA Fighting also reported that the following photo posted by Nate Diaz was taken after the lunch, and they put their differences from their meeting past them. However, no agreement has been made for a rematch between Diaz and McGregor, but negotiations will reportedly continue.
