Early Tuesday afternoon it was revealed that a bill was passed by a New York assembly that moved MMA one step closer towards legalization in New York.
While the bill now moves to the desk of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, he has expressed his desire to sign the bill, and make MMA fully legalized in New York.
Needless to say, ZUFFA employees were thrilled, and UFC VP of Public Relations Dave Sholler was caught on camera celebrating the news!
