UFC women’s strawweight contender Claudia Gadelha gives an update on her hand injury, missing out on her rematch with champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk and when she expects to return to the octagon.
Gadelha was expected to get the next shot at the champ after her win over Jessica Aguilar, back in August, but unfortunately she injured her hand and the UFC didn’t want to wait until January. So, they gave the title shot to Valérie Létourneau, a women Gadelha has already beaten.
Jedrzejczyk and Létourneau will face off at UFC 193 in Melbourne, Australia on Nov. 14.
No word on if she’ll fight again or just wait for her title shot, but we’ll keep you posted.
