Wherever you are Jose Aldo, please do not read this. Although, the UFC featherweight champ most likely knows how much he lost out on when he dropped out of UFC 189 with a rib injury.

It was already assumed that this would have been a massive check for Aldo, but now UFC president Dana White confirms as much by saying just how much he missed out on.

White appeared on The Rusillo Show on ESPN Radio and talked about the event and about Aldo’s unfortunate situation.

“It’s crazy because I actually saw the video. He gets hit with a spinning-heel kick, which is crazy in itself that anyone is even throwing that at him two weeks before his fight. It is what it is. He stood to make a lot of money, a lot of money. If he could’ve fought, he would’ve fought.”

“Millions of dollars. Yeah, he probably would’ve made close to four million.”
