Former UFC light-heavyweight champion Lyoto ‘The Dragon’ Machida is set to fight Yoel Romero at this Saturdays event in Hollywood, FL. Ahead of that bout he appeared on FOX Sports 1’s America’s Pregame and talked about the Luke Rockhold fight, why he took this fight so soon after and revealed that he had hand surgery following the loss to Rockhold.

“I had hand surgery, probably eight weeks ago. Just took out some fragments from my hand. Nothing bad. In three weeks, I was 100-percent healed.”

Sounds like he’s all good to go for Saturday’s main event. Do you think we will see the Machida of old or will he get dominated like he did against Rockhold.
