Jon Jones’ hit and run incident really hit the shuffle button on the UFC’s light heavyweight division. After it was announced Jones had been stripped of the title, it was confirmed that Daniel Cormier would be stepping in to face Anthony “Rumble” Johnson at UFC 187.

Due to the fact that Daniel Cormier was pulled from his fight with Ryan Bader, Bader is now out of a fight. Bader is looking to lock up a championship shot soon if everything plays out correctly. He told MMAHour, “I’m in this sport to win a championship. And so, if we can go to the UFC, and talk to Joe Silva or Dana and say hey, we get the winner, then I’m going to fight the winner of AJ and DC. That’s a best-case scenario.”
