After Ronda Rousey defeated Cat Zingano via armlock in just 14 seconds at UFC 184 on Saturday, she was asked who she would like to fight next, as she has nearly cleaned out her division.

Rousey stated that she would like to fight either Holly Holm, or Bethe Correira. However, she didn’t mention Jessica Eye.

Eye, who is 1-1-1 in the UFC after having a split decision win overturned to a no contest after a failed drug test for marijuana, wants to fight Rousey before anyone else, and won’t be too happy if she doesn’t get the opportunity first.

UFC President Dana White explained the bantamweight title picture backstage at UFC 184 to MMAJunkie:

“(Correia) came up and said, ‘I want to go into the octagon after Ronda fights, and I want to get in her face,’ and ‘I want to fight Ronda, I want to fight Ronda.’”

Jessica Eye on the other hand was more aggressive when it came to her campaign for a shot.

“(She) said, ‘If anybody gets that fight over me, I’m whupping somebody’s ass.’ Everybody wants to fight (Ronda). It’s a good problem to have.”
