Underdogs upsetting the favorites seems to be a reoccurring theme tonight at UFC Fight Night 61. The crowd may have showered Andriano Martins with a chorus of boos after his hand was raised in victory, but he got the job done!

It may not have been the most exciting performance, but it was fantastic to watch Martins overcome the odds and negate all of Khabilov’s moves. Khabilov was impressive in the opening round and he tried his hardest to get Martins to fight HIS fight, but Martins refused and stuck to his original gameplan. He was able to take Khabilov down multiple times in the final two rounds and it was no surprise when his hands were raised in victory.
