In this throwback video we see a very young Lyoto Machida getting brutally smacked multiple times by Antonio Inoki following a unanimous decision win over Kengo Watanabe in his MMA debut.

In Japan being smacked by Inoki is a great honor, and is sort of a ‘good luck’ charm that means the fighter will be successful.
