Donald Cerrone and Khabib Nurmagomedov nearly got the scrap they’ve been asking for against each other.

According to UFC President Dana White, the fight was a done deal for a September UFC event, and 20 minutes after signing, Khabib pulled out.

Here’s Dana’s recount:

“That fight was done. Joe Silva sent the email out, and 20 minutes later, (Nurmagomedov) went into the gym and blew his knee out. Twenty minutes. So that fight’s off.”
