While many are anxiously awaiting the MMA return of Fedor Emelianenko, Russian President Vladimir Putin is a bit worried about his friend’s return to MMA.

Emelianenko revealed to RSport.ru that Putin called him about his return fight:

“Yes, we talked. He said he would be very worried (with a smile). And he wished me luck.”

So far no word yet on who ‘The Last Emperor’ will be facing in his return.
