Vitor Belfort’s beautifully placed spinning back kick KO over Luke Rockhold earned “The Phenom” Knockout of the Night honors. This is the second knockout victory by head kick in a row for Vitor, and it sent the Brazilian crowd into an absolute frenzy.

Ronaldo Souza earned Submission of the Night honors with an impressive arm-triangle choke in the first round against late replacement Chris Camozzi. He will likely get a top contender after such a phenomenal debut in the Octagon.

Fight of the Night honors went to Lucas Martins and Jeremy Larsen for their heated back and forth battle on the UFC on FX 8 preliminary card. After a close first two rounds, Martins eventually landed a brutal punch square on Larsen’s face sending him to the canvas.

Each fighter will pocket an additional $50,000 in bonus money. UFC on FX 8 took place at the Arena Jaragua in Jaragua Do Sul, Santa Catarina, Brazil.
