Looks like UFC welterweight Tyron Woodley just earned himself a title shot without even fighting former champion Johny Hendricks at UFC 192.
Early Friday morning, UFC president Dana White broke the news that the co-main event for Saturday’s UFC 192, between Hendricks and Woodley had been canceled due to an issue with Hendricks weight cut.
After a little bit of time word came from Hendricks’ manager, saying that he actually suffered an intestine blockage and kidney stone on Thursday, forcing him to rush to the emergency room.
Hendricks and Woodley have since given their thoughts on the unfortunate situation, along with the rest of the MMA community.
Now, according to Yahoo Sports, and confirmed by UFC’s Dave Sholler, it looks like Woodley will be getting the next title shot and will fight the winner of Robbie Lawler vs. Carlos Condit.

Woodley than reported the same news, saying that his next fight will be for the title and he also hopes to get his win money for the canceled Hendricks fight.
@UFCONFOX My next fight will be a title shot! I'm not fighting anybody in between! @UFC #UFC I deserve that and my win bonus
