Sage Northcutt vs. Cody Pfister confirmed for UFC Fight Night 80

Just weeks removed from picking up his first win in the octagon at “UFC 192: Cormier vs. Gustafsson”, Sage Northcutt already has his next fight lined up for him! He will be returning to action on December 10, 2015 against Cody Pfister at “UFC Fight Night 80”, which will be headlined by fellow phenomenon Paige VanZant.

Nothcutt was riding a wave of momentum very few debuting fighters get to experience when he made his debut in October. The sport karate champion took the internet by storm when his signing was announced and proved the hype was indeed real when he dominated Francisco Trevino in less than a minute in his first octagon appearance. Northcutt has an impressive record of 6-0 and will be looking to extend it to 7-0 when he meets Pfister.

Cody Pfister possesses a UFC record of just 1-1 and is coming fresh off a decision victory over Yosdenis Cedeno at UFC 189.

The lightweights are expected to co main-event the UFC Fight Pass event.
