Ronda “Rowdy” Rousey had a busy year in and out of the octagon.   The 14 second defeat is the 2nd fastest in title history and just like a blazing hook or thunderous uppercut KO, a submission can end fights equally as fast.    Cat Zingano had only one fight in 2015.

For the last 4 years Zingano has taken one fight a year.   Some fighters get ring rust after 6-8 months, fighting once a year worked until she ran into a title bout with Rowdy and got herself caught by charging the champ with a knee that missed its target.

Will we see Zingano come back and become the legit threat to Holly Holm’s title? Or will a title eliminator bout between Miesha Tate and Zingano make sense?
