It was a controversial championship match that many thought could have gone either way. There was no denying that the fight was filled with action and had fans as well as fighters oozing with excitement. Although in the end, the judges gave a split decision nod to UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler and left Carlos Condit one judge’s score short of fulfilling a life-changing dream.
UFC color commentator Joe Rogan tweeted his feelings on the 10-point must scoring system in the sport of MMA and how it needs to be changed following the controversial battle between Lawler and Condit.
MMA's scoring badly needs an upgrade. There's no way the 5th and 3rd rounds should generate the same score last night.
